Reflections On Social Housing in Regent Park

Rpcm facilitated a guided tour of Regent park neighborhood, speakers made informative presentations on the value of social housing by sharing their experiences and gave a tour of regent park where many varieties of social housing exist ranging from co-ops ,social housing, shelters and those receiving rental assistance from Canada Ontario Housing Benefit (COHB).

Housing advocates and experts spoke about the cost of homelessness and a lively and engaging Q&A was hosted at the Daniel spectrum building over a regent park catered lunch. It was a great learning experience for the community. We plan to host another again in the future.
